No, I made that mistake before.The color of the lighting has changed, but not the quality.Same junk epistar diodes,same shit ballasts ,etc.

Leds need +80F temps, extracting from the bottom keeps the tent a bit hotter

Could also be an intake hose. Some people set up intake hoses that way to block the light from coming in.
