Plants without water?

I have a bubbleponics system that has been working great and my plants are growing great. They are now 15 days old and about 8 inches tall and full of flowers. My question is how long can my plants go without the water flowing over there roots. I checked my system last night and this morning and it was working good. I checked this afternoon before work and my water pump has completely stopped working. I can not look at it tonight since I am at work. Do you think my plants will be ok for 12-24 hours without the water flowing over them? 4 out of the 6 have about a foot of roots in the water so I think those should be fine but what about the others that the roots havnt reached the water yer? Im hoping that the lack of water will make the roots grow in search of water and be fine tomorrow when I can get a new pump. What do you guys think?

If you can hand water a few times a day the plants will make it until you get a pump. And they should survive a 12 hr outage without any adverse affects, but 24 with no attention .... lets say it's not a good thing

With deep water growing, as long as you have water available to the plant you can go about a week on the same water, depending on what water you use (also on nutes). You can also change it everyday for better results but that's only if you don't use nutes, but that's a big task if you have more than 1 plant. You'll have slower growth but you can make it last till you fix your pump

Are you using the pump for top feed? Or do you have a RDWC system?

Its bubbleponics so the water is flowing over the bottom of the medium just hitting the bottom of the rockwool. The scares amounts of water make the roots search for more water which has worked fabulous so far. but with no water its not much. I still have my air stone working and added some more water to act as a DWC until I get off work and can get a new pump.
