plastic to use to seal room

What type of plastic liner should I use to put on my walls before i put the 1/4 panels on the wall? I used 3 mil vapor barrier when I did my room and it does not seem to keep the smell in completely. I am sure I have minor leaks here and there but I was thinking maybe I used the wrong material.

thanks!

i used all kinds of different plastics and i find its easier to just stickwith it and set up a carbon filter outside of the grow tent as well, just a small air scrubber( maybe 150$).

Homedepot has 6and 10 mil construction plastic. Comes in rolls. Not cheep but if I can use it to contain lead sure it will do the trick.

i didnt use any plastic in my room construction, and i have no odor control setup. you would never know the room had 40+ plants in it even if you knew the room was there. walls were 3/4"' osb(the glues used in bonding make it very sealed) and i used silicon caulk everywhere wood met wood. 24 tubes. then i found this rubber paint. it is flat white, washable and seals everything from bottom to top.
think about why you know you have just gotten a good bag of weed because you smell it before the guy pulls it out. plastic will not hold odors well.

Ziplock bags smell. But I use smelly proff bags. I have had 3L on me and you couldn't smell a thing. So yes plastic can block smell.

Yes but I didn't heat seal it. And no the border dog didn't smell it when I came up from El Centro. But only had a half of dank.
