plastic white trash bin "HELP"

i just got a plastic trash bin ( got it at walmart) , its white , i got my cfls in there at night the bin looks like a big bright bulb. and wanted to know how reflective it is in side ? and would foil work better ? and what side of the foil (shiny or dull) ??

well if its glowing then its not reflecting very well. While foil is not ideal it would be better then nothing, Dull side out.

go to the dollar store and pick up one of those reflective car window things. foil or wrapping paper can rinkle and make focus points on your plants causing burns
