Please help-1st time set up need guidance!

So im setting up a sys and i need some help please
36x7 flood table(botanicare)
40G res(botanicare)
600HPS reflector(yield mastII)
600 ballast
using RW
Pumps(This is what i'm unsure about most bc everything is new WO boxes)
pics this evening after work
ANY HELP/WALK THROUGH WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

RW = Rock Wool. Be sure to follw instructions and flush your RW with Ph'd water before you use it - I failed to do so the first couple of times and ended up adjusting my PH down twice a day for a month or two until I flushed it really well. Also, I've never grown with E&F, but RW holds a great deal of water - I only fed my plants twice a day with a drip system. Get a second/third opinion, but I'd think once a day feedings would be sufficient in E&F, since you'll likely have much better saturation of your medium. One last thing - you may want to cover the tops of your cubes/medium so you don't get algae.

Ditto what he said on the cubes, prep on those dude will go a long way. I you're putting your cubes directly into your tray, once/day flooding is good to start. I use 3" cubes with hydroton in pots, allows me to water very often safely usually 3-4 times/day for 15 mins, depending on how many plants are in the garden.
