Please help! First time grow. Should I flip to flower yet?

Hi, this is my first ever grow. I’m growing white widow x gorilla glue. After a few mishaps along the way I’ve managed to keep them alive . I threw myself into the deep end and I’ve topped some plants, just done lst on one and ended up mainlining more than I intended due to breaking some branches early on...I can’t seem to get the hang of using plant wire without breaking something, hence my string and clips!

I started germination 7 weeks ago, nearly killed them by allowing the root plugs to dry off too much in the first few days after sprouting and my tent has been too hot and then too cold, so I’m happy they look the way they do.

I started them off under a 600w cfl 5500k bulb (I know, not the best bulb but I was so excited to start my grow!) I’m not sure if it’s good but the nodes have grown very tight to the point lst has been difficult....I’ve probably put the plant back a few weeks with the mistakes I’ve made and I’m hoping that it won’t affect the yield too much but I’m looking for quality over quantity as I’m just growing for myself.

My questions are, should I flip them to flower now? If not, when?

With the mainlined plants, should I continue to remove any fan leaves or should I just take off any potential bud sites?

With the scrog, should I defoliate includingany lower potential bud sites before flowering or should I give them a chance to stretch in flower?

Any advice will be very appreciated.D5338541-ED46-404A-A097-1612FF1BB24B.jpeg7ED9CFD0-1DE8-4F82-880E-3B95E39F0A2B.jpeg2A31C7F0-DA58-4E2C-B6A2-D045FA49EB0F.jpeg7ED9CFD0-1DE8-4F82-880E-3B95E39F0A2B.jpegDBAE38B7-6988-42FD-BDFD-00F53D670DE9.jpeg

I would leave the mainline alone until after stretch.

With the scrog, I would defoliate any fan leaves on the interior of the plant as well as any that are blocking bud sites. Go lightly being your first time. After stretch you can do more and look into lollipopping.

If your plants are growing vigorously, I would flip when you want. If you have some deficiencies that you are still concerned about, straighten those out first, then proceed.

That's the benefit of photos...you get that extra time to correct shit before you flip. Good luck.
