Please help, I do not understand!

This is really getting on my nerves, i do understand how the buds grow, do they grow on the stems and limbs? or do they just start growing from the stem and out on there own stems? Because when i look at a picture of a marijuana plant i cant see any buds except on the cola. How do they end up looking like this?


What happens to the fan leaves?

They end up looking like that because all the smaller buds will end up growing together, if you look on the main stems of those buds you'll see what I mean.

The fan leaves keep on coming out, but the blades on the fans decrease in number until there are just a bunch of 1-finger blades. They get manicured off, and voila!
Buds like you're used to seeing.

Thanks, so little nuggets that start out at the nodes in between the leaves will grow into one big bud?

Wait so they would start growing at these red spots?

A few of those dots are off, Buds grow between nodes and once a node grows and gets fan leaves a bud will grow between the fan leaf and node
