How often should it be watered ? when all the water in the bottom dish is all gone ?Looks A bit Over Watered
I'll second that..^^No u should do it when the soil is dry
potting mix mixed with sand for drainage and a about 1mm of sand on top, mostly potting mix but.I'll second that..^^
also.. what type of soil are you using
ok, well i it just on the windowsill atm getting sunlight from about 10am onwards and my plan was when it gets a bit bigger to transplant it outside into direct sunlight. In my opinion u're overwatering it and it looks like a little streched. What kind of light are u using ? If u're using CFL i suggest u to lower them a little. And u should consider to trasplant it in a more specific soil. For example FoxFarm
i think you will be better off with the soil in link^^ rather than what you have going right now.. How is the weather in Australia right now? Will the weather allow for the plant to go outside right now? if so i would make the move as soon as possible. and maybe a bigger pot will help you not over water it as much. remember the soil should be dry at least 2 inches down. you want the roots to be stretching to find water, this will create a larger root system for an all around healthier plant! **dont forget that soil has nutes in it already! it wont need any extras for a few months. Goodluck and happy smoking!ok, well i it just on the windowsill atm getting sunlight from about 10am onwards and my plan was when it gets a bit bigger to transplant it outside into direct sunlight.
PS i'm in Australia, do you know what brand of soil they sell here that is equivalent to foxfarm ? i do have Bloom potting mix like the one in this link, would it be suitable ?
