Plz help me, i am 3 weeks into flowering on my first grow and something unexpected has happend.
I have ran out of room in my grow box, the plants are as tall as the box and growing!

Is there anything i can do?

Would putting the light on one of the sides instead of the top work? would that mean they would grow sideways towards the lights or would the plant snap?

Please help me as soon as possible, time is of the essence as they say.

i have a pic just incase that would help,

Thank you.

Look for articles on LST. Low stress training. Take a paperclip or string or twist tie and hook one end about 2-3" from the top and attach the other end down lower on the plant and pull the top over about 60-70 degree. Leave the tie there for about a week. Then the plant will grow in that form.

Lst will work but it will be hard considering how thick those stems are. You could Put them Sideways, but it will be extremely hard to water. You could put them at angles somehow. If not id try with the lst.

Honestly im not a big fan of pruning... i love supercropping but in your case i would simply come and cut the meristems tip off ......
on top of the height problem you got .. you have your over fertilizing .... your leaves are all curling down...
Check your ph... and go easy on the fertz......
peace

I flushed them again yesterday, looking alot better now, how long you recon untill i can start using the bio bloom i just got? and its 3mil to a ltr of water isnt it?
Going to put the light on the side now to draw the growth that way, is there any risk of the weight being too much when the buds develop more and the plant snapping?

thanks

Biobloom is good stuff. I only used 2 ml, (i only borrowed some), but if i remember the label says 2-5. I always like to keep my ppms low, that way my plants never get burned or wilt. Id rather feed real low often, than strong hear and there.
Also they may start to lean from being top heavy, but thats a good thing:eyesmoke:. Just get you a pack of bamboo sticks for like 3 dollars at lowes, or hell you can tie them to the cieling with string.
