i am really new to this this is the first time trying is it tme to harvest here is a couple of picturesneed better ones ill try

looks like you have a while to go. first the pistils (little white hairs on buds) start to turn brown. then the microscopic trichomes turn from clear to cloudy to amber. the more amber the trichomes the more couchlock the high is.

you should get a $10 portable microscope from radio shack to look at the trichomes. it is the only sure way to time the harvest

so i have to wait till all the trichs are amber in collor thevebeen budding for about 5 weeks

people harvest at different times based on how much of a head high they want vs. being stoned. the more you want a pure couch lock feeling, the more amber you want, up to a limit. the ranges i've seen go from 10% amber for heady high to 2/3 amber for pure couch lock

Depending on strain it could be 8-12 weeks of flowering to harvest, there really is no such thing as over ripe, so you have at minimum 3 weeks to go, but wait 5 weeks more just to be sure, the most weight gets packed on the last couple weeks. FWIW that plant looks pretty good for a 1st time grow!!!

thanks it went thru hell the wind busted the top off so i root toned it and it stayed growing nothing but rainwater was used besides fertilkizer got a bunk of clipping off it as well there are growing wild
