This is just to check out the consensus of what folks feel on this issue.
Lets not judge folks here for their opinions..okay everyone. Please vote from your own personal experiences and not from you wish would happen or want others to do. It's not really about what you morally think but more on your actual experiences. Just trying to see what folks are actually doing on this issue.
Thanks

not driving under the influence shows responsibility. isn't that what were trying to promote here? responsible policy. it shows that you can still make responsible choices while smoking, such as not driving high.

Everyone's answer is important and appreciated...no judging or commenting on other peoples opinion in this thread...if we could.
It's an important subject and I think and interesting one as well. imo

When smoking any of the Kush stains now way, I stay off the road well even when I'm smoking something else. With the Burmese cross and Blue Cheese I had I could drive but that wasn't on the main drag, just to the beer store.

99.8% of the time I don't drive while high.

I don't mind it on backstreets n short distances but prefer not to just because regardless of what you do there are other people driving too n you can't control them. If someone else collides with you when your high, even if you were completely alert n didn't cause it - who do you think gets blamed if there's a death? Prob the guy that was high ...same reason I don't smoke before work if I'm going to be filling in for someone in production (normally n an office so its not a big deal) - if I chop my arm off n I'm high I don't think workman's comp applies anymore loool.

Personally I feel fine doing any task under the influence of cannabis - just haven't convinced the rest of the world yet so I'll play it safe.

The real question is do you ACTUALLY fuck like a porn star when you're high or does it just seem like you are :hump:

Not the politically correct answer, but I've been driving high for almost 20 years. I'm an extremely functional smoker, and feel like MMJ affects me differently than most in that it makes me more focussed and alert. I worked in forestry for a long time in my early 20's, and so we would regularly smoke while driving on the gravel roads a million miles from anywhere. If anything, I feel like it makes me more cautious and I pay more attention to my driving......I also tend to drive 5-10 km/h slower when I am high. I have never been in a car accident in my life (high or sober), and I've had jobs where I was driving 12-14 hours per day. I'm a good driver and know my own capabilities and limits. I've never driven a vehicle after even a couple of drinks and would never consider doing so.

I also think there are varying degrees of driving high. I don't do so unnecessarily, or get screaming high right before hopping into my car. I will not drive high on busy highways, or busy roads. I live in a quiet area on the edge of town, and I can get to anywhere I need to go on secondary roads and 40 km/hr zones.

I do have to medicate very regularly throughout the day though...... I live alone and public transportation is a joke here, so I would have to hire a chauffeur (or become a shut-in) if I were to never drive while at all high.
