possible buthane alternative

I was thinking if methylal (dimethoxymethane) could be an alternative to buthane for bho type extractions? Thing about methylal is its totally non toxic when compared to buthane and is a much stronger solvent when it comes down to dissolving lipids. Boiling temp is 42. I also know another alternative with even stronger dissolving properties but its not easily found like methylal. Experts?
