Set Up:
Date Sprouted: 5-27-2022 (+36 Days from Sprout)
Strains: Double Grape, 3 Bears OG (Mephisto Autoflowers)
Grow Medium: Redbud Soil Company No-Till Living Soil
Pot Size: 5 gallon
Light: Mars Hydro TSW2000 set so the canopy gets 600-700 PPFD via photone app
First Feeding: 6-16-2022
Second Feeding: 6-26-2022 (+10 days)
Dry Amendments: Down To Earth 4-4-4 @ 1 tbsp/gal medium
Water Schedule: 1/2 gal every 3-4 days with 5ml/gallon of Bloom City CleanKelp
Water Quality: Tap water filtered with APEC CS-2500P under sink filtration system, ph = 7.6
Tent Temps/Humidity: Recent ranges of 67F-80F at 47-60% RH
Observations & Actions Taken
I identified what looked to be a calcium deficiency and took the following action:
- On date of 1st feeding, top dressed 3 tbsp dolomite lime to each plant
- on date of 2nd feeding, top dressed 1 tbsp dolomite lime to each plant
- 2 days after the 2nd feeding, fed 1 tbsp of dolomite lime mixed in 750ml of water, distributed evenly among 4 plants.
- I went easy on the dolomite lime b/c of its effect on soil ph. I figured it was better to start low and see how the plants reacted.
-Double Grape has been the most vigorous grower, but, like my other 3 plants, recently seems to have slowed down. Double grape is also showing signs of nitrogen and calcium deficiency. 3 Bears OG has steadily trailed Double Grape in terms of growth. I'm concerned about what I'm seeing on 3BOG as it looks like it could be pest related or it could be from past waterings. I'm unsure. (pic related: 3BOGP1_2)
- I suspect that I simply haven't been feeding them enough and since they're in flower I was thinking giving each girl:
Let me know if you think I'm off base here and what you think I could do to help these girls. Thanks.
