Hello RIU.
When this site was down I hung out on another forum. This place had a real nice support section and one of the stickys in place was spnething called a support ticket.
I loved this idea and I quickly found out that a lot if the better growers would not even both to respond is it did not start with a support ticket.
Support ticket would list all of the information we need to help with a grow. Starting with experiance level and moving onto the particulars for the grow in question such as method, media, lights, humidity and heat control, watering method, ferilizers used, planting schedule and tools used such as light meters, ph and ec tools and any IPM being used in the grow. Strain and type such as photo clone or auto.Then pictures and whats the last thing you did before this happened.
This allows anyone helping to see if they can help. Organic, coco, hydro, airpots a lot of things in these different grow methods are waaaaay different and I know I am not going to answer any questions on topics I am not clear on. In addition we have all seen the new grower posting a silver bullet request with no info expecting our dart to git the mark. This will almost stop as any new guy going to this other site who does that normally gets no reaponse or gets only a link to the support ticket questions.
I do not want to just import the other sites ticket as I think it is badley designed and could be improved.
Anyone interested in helping with this task please chime in. we can devide the topics and the growers who do hydro can recommed questions and airpots and all the other grow types can help tailor the questions to the specific method .
