Pot Hack

So I was told by a fellow grower that what I do to my pots in preparation to LST is unique and this person has not seen it before. Figure I'd share it because it makes LSTing so much easier for me. The back itself is very easy as well. All you have to do is drill, stab, etc. a series of holes in the top of your pot (fabric pots and pots that aren't filled completely to rim will need to be punctured differently, a circle of holes just below the rim of pot). Thread twine, hemp, preferred cordage through holes and you have a great base to tie too. Here are pictures. Yay!!!!

I do the same thing without the string woven through the holes. I use foam covered wire to hold the branches down by poking the wire through the hole and wrapping the other end around a branch.
Another good thing to have in your arsenal is floral tape. It's tape that stretches and is great for those times that a branch gets pulled a tad too much and splits.

yeah i used to do this same method except with pipe cleaner flexi things. now i pinch and train, then stake in flower. i started hating having all those branches tied and stuff... made watering more difficult to get the can head above the pot to water.

nice looking canopy man, good job
