i went from a dixie cup to a grow bag thats almost two gallons. my question is if that will be ok for the plants entire life. i have size restrictions so dont want to go to a 5 gallon pot or even a 3 because i dont want them to outgrow my room. will the plants suffer any because of this?

no just start flowering when the plant is about 12 inches tall...you will yield less due to space restrictions but.... ya know

General rule is a 3-gallon pot for a 3 month grow. If you do go with the 2-gallon pot I would only veg maybe 3 1/2 to 4 weeks
before switching the lights to flower mode. Smaller plants need smaller pots.

2 gallons is fine. I can pull 2 or 3 zips from a 2 gallon. Even one gallon is fine with minimal veg time, you call pull a zip.
