Pot sizes and Spacing

What spacing, and pot sizes do you guys use for your pots?

What spacing and pot sizes would you guys be using for the light dispersion of this reflector/light?

It is a square closet, so I'm guessing square pots, with square saucers would be ideal.

I've been having trouble with drainage with these pots and saucers, the saucers dont seem to be wide enough, so the slightest overfill will stop drainage at the bottom.

I am guessing this light works best for a 2'x2' plant arrangement.
Not sure how big of pots would be ideal for this confinements.

Thinking of potentially going with a Deep Water Culture next month, I'd like a tote with holes in 4 corners, and 1 in the center. This way, it provides some flexibility

P.S. -- I'll be growing buttercrunch lettuce and clones so if anyone knows the ideal pot size / saucer size and spacing for these crops, I'd like to know
but am also curious to hear what you think about the optimal spacing/ pot sizes/saucer sizes for mj, for this light? (Its about 150w)

My closet is only half occupied with 15 plants, but the light seems to cover about 9 of these 6" pots -- (really only 6 now that I'm using wide plates as saucers)

Looking for advice

-- Technically this is a math problem that involves leaving multiple margins, I suppose -- any hints here?

15 plants for a first(?) grow is IMO, rather ambitious.
What's the square footage of the grow and how high?
DWC is not for the uninitiated, do 2 or 3 grows in soil/pro-mix first.
I try to space my plants so they're not touching, sometimes can't be done.
150w (LED?) is good for about 4 sq ft. In my house that's 1 plant.

You'll be wanting more light, fan for air circulation, and something for odour control.

shrug, I've grown 3 different varieties of lettuce in DWC and kratky, it doesn't need much. I ran into issues with 4" square pots being too close together for the heads to form so perhaps keep the end size in mind. Mine were cut and come again for 3-4 times and worked great, cut em down to stumps and it'll throw more leaves out in a few days.

if this were for MJ, yeah 2 sq ft per plant is appropriate at full size, less for veg.

square footage of the grow you asked. dimension are roughly 24 1/2" wide and 36" long tis about 5 foot tall.

-- I actually just took the shelving cabinet out of the other side of my double closet, which has about an equally sized space, -- I wrapped some remaining panda film around it and it is looking a lot sharper than when I did the first half.

I have the other closet door cracked, that way when air comes through the window, hopefully it will aerate the closet better.
-- Running 175w mh

it is

Any ideas for this shelving cabinet?

P.S. -- What lighting is seen in this picture?? What particular LED, are there better ones? This dudes setup looks unbelievable
-- still getting the metal halide dialed in -- I think my plants were potentially a bit stunted from heat due to lack of circulation -- fresh air exchange is so vital

but lets say it is 16ft^2 -- how can you tell if its a 4'x4 'or 8'x2'
