Pot Texture

This may have been asked before, but it seems as the pot I buy now has what could be described as more pulp than what one could get years ago.
Seems like it was much easier to roll back then. Is this my imagination or have varieties changed significantly over the years?

Back then, depending how old you are, pot had more leaves than buds, today we grow more for the buds.

Thanks Dee Tee, yep I remember using a sieve to clean the seeds out. I learned when and how to harvest and cure from here. Great site.

In the early 70's I was told to harvest before the buds got too big because the leaves fall off. lmao

Yeah, grinding dank ass pot doesn't produce the same jay as the hand cleaned old days bud. Sure don't miss all those seeds though.

my dad told me when he was a kid they would find pot growing and put the fucking leaves on light bulbs to dry them out and smoke them. i asked if he even got high and he said yes. true story.
