Potency...

What are some things to avoid that might make the potency of your bud go down? I have read that cutting it too early is bad... What else effects potency of the bud?

Hmmm. Well, I'd say, too hot or too cold, too much water too little water, too much nutes too little nutes, too much light too liitle light, too many bugs, too much mold, too high ph too low ph, too small of a root growth base, too much crowding, to much of pesticides not enough pesticides, too much of fungicides not enough fungicides, too much wind not enough circulation, not enough co2, light spectrums. Well pretty much everything you do will affect the potency.

you forgot touching them too much or not enough

I thought about that. No man handling, but removing debris is a good idea.

I thought co2 was for increasing yield and not potency? Or maybe you meant natural co2...

Hmm.. .let's see. 75-80 degrees, 5 gallon buckets kept about 2.5-3 gallon of water with light nutes (i have been using maybe 1 3/4 teaspoon per gallon), 250/400/600 hps lights, a few nats but that's all I am aware of, several fans and AC... I had some friends say my bud didn't quite have the potency but I think they're just hating... Shit smokes right to me but I'm biased I suppose...

Hey its a learning process. Just give it time and you learn the plants. Strain is also a big factor as well, and as long as it works for you, who gives a fuck what those derilicts say. My first crop made me happy although it was no where near its potential, but who cares, I harested and stayed high, and that's all that matters right.

Haha right on, right on...

I also do a lot of hunting. I love getting people into that, Its like I always tell someone new to hunting, if you go out and expect a huge trophy buck everytime, you will be dissapointed everytime, the bottom line Is my fucking frezzers always full, huge rack of horns or not.
