Power serge issue

I had a power serge Wednesday, and 1 of my gavita 1700e pro lights lost 3 bars and the other one lost 6 bars. Are they worth fixing, can they be fixed?

how old are they? are they still under waranty, if so, get on to the company and get new ones serge protectors are a must have when growing indoors, well worth the money.

Probably about 2 or 2 1/2 years old. And can they be fixed? I will be claiming them on my house insurance along with a long list of other things. So if my insurance covers them I will buy replacements and see if they can be fixed. I do love the gavita 1700, but my only problem with them is they can only dim down to 50%. I grow in tents and sometimes I need to dim the lights more on young plants. So I might go with a hlg led when I replace.

I'd also be worried about the drivers...if the surge blew through them on its way to the LED strips, it's possible they took a hit too...

You may want to think twice about claiming that and giving that information to your insurance company- just a thought

I have my lights and fans powered through a computer UPS. Gives a bit of time for the power to turn back on or to turn everything off.
