PPM for seed germ

1st grow - what is a good PPM for the water in my seed tray? Also, my ppm meter has 3 digits - Im assuming the number should be multiplied by 100?

I can't really say, i like others use ph'd water straight from the kitchen tap without any issues.

I don't even PH the water from my tap and it works like a charm every time

I agree with massah...2 weeks tap water and root stimulator u will be good to good. Happy grow

I have the same meter, and when your ppm is in the thousands it will flash and display a x10 symbol. And I start my propagation tray at around 400ppm

my tap water is high(8.2)..so i lower it to 6.0 for germing seeds..and are you asking about the ppm of tds ?..if so my tap water is like 60 -80 and works fine
