Pre-Flowers Already!?

Hey everyone I jut FIM'ed about a week ago or a little longer and the new growth that came back seemed to have preflowers at the nodes. It may be some weird type of growth but I'm pretty sure its a preflower. My plants are still in veg under a 400w mh for 20/4 and have been from the start. Only the plants I FIM'ed are showing this. My plants are 42 days old from seed btw. Heres some pics.

EDIT: Forgot to add this: If they are preflowers... why are they showing already???

is it a problem that there showing early. it looks like youve got some baby girls there. did you order the seeds or are they bagseed. if there bag seed they could be from an autoflowerer.

actually i take that back. the first one looks to be female. the other are almost definateley males. except for i think one that i couldnt relly see very well.

and they may be showing early because usually the males will sex first so that the pollen is ready when the females begin to flower. that way the females have plenty of time to produce seed. if the male flowered at the same time the female would not have time to produce mature enough seeds to be viable.

oh and your plants are 42 days old. they are mature enough to sex themselves. this is completely normal.

Ah ok. Right on thank you for the info. I have two and a half more weeks of veg left, do you think the rest will show before I flip the lights? And these seeds were ordered online.
