Pre Harvest Flush

Looking for some info on pre harvest flushing. When to start? What colour trichomes should be? I know people say 1-2 weeks for best flush, how many times should you be flushing within a week? Once? Twice? Every three days? Is it 3-4 times the container size? How to flush? Using soiless, and 2 part sensi bloom as well as liquid karma as foliar spray..do I stop using the liquid karma too? Trying to really bring out the best taste possible! Any info or oppinions about pre harvest flush would be greatly appreciated!
 
Why flush? There might be a whole bunch of people who swear flushing is important, but hey, there is a whole bunch of people who swear apple make cutting edge products. It has been found time after time by grower after grower that flushing does nothing beneficial to the harvest. There are many arguments for flushing; half are utter nonsense, and the other half, well it seems only the ones flushing seem to notice the difference, despite many people doing did by side comparisons with clones and finding no difference.

of, if you have more than one plant, flush one, and don't flush the second .. dry and cure exactly the same, smoke and compare.. it's really the only way imo.. i've tried it, and never noticed a bit of difference between flushed and unflushed..
