Preharvest clone gathering?

I know it's the most inopportune time, but I'm days from cutting an incredible strain that I'd like to re-rerun. Is it even possible to pull a section out of a budding plant and put in an aeroponic cloning device? Am I better off just cutting the "Product" off the plant leaving the fan leaves intact and put the thing back on 24/0? I have a ton of experience cloning on the front end, never done it after maturity. Experience anyone? Theories?

Have you given air layering any thought? Its fairly simple. I know some do it when the realize the plant they got is straight fire and want to clone it when they are well into flowering. Also if you leave a lower small cola intact when you harvest you can reveg it as you already mentioned. Good luck.

your a bit late in the flower cycle, but its worth a shot. take your clone as normal, leave all flowers on it, and clone as you normally do. its going to take a few weeks longer to get its hormones back in veg mode. next time take 2 clones per plant before flowering, so you don't run into issues like this and possibly lose out on a winning strain.

Re vegging will take some time

longer than normal perhaps 3-4 weeks until she settles into veg
