What's the deal with all the repotting that goes on, starting in a cup, going to a bigger pot and then to an even bigger one.
I have tried to find the technical reason for it in grow guides and such but I can't find anything.
The reason I don't understand it is... why can't you just start in a big pot? I mean when plants grow in the wild... they often grow in an amount of soil far larger than a plant pot!
Can someone explain to me?
