Probably root rot, but running out of solutions, help please.

So, I'm running a DWC grow box. I'm in the first week of flowering, and I've already lost one crop to root rot. I thought the issue was temperature, so this crop I started adding disinfected frozen water bottles every day to keep the temps down. Right now the temps are between 52 and 65 degrees farenheit daily, before they were in the 80s :(

Anyways, at the beginning of this crop I used 60 ml of 35% hydrogen peroxide every nute change in order to keep pathogens out. I started to notice some root death, and taking some advice from some friends on here, decided to give beneficial bacterias a try. So, I added sensizym, piranha and voodoo juice to the mix, and they actually worked great. New roots were booming, still a bit of slime, but the plants never looked better.

That was up until 2 days ago, the base of the roots are looking dark and miserable again. The plants have gone from perky and upright to down and droopy in 48 hours. There are absolutely no light leaks in this box, the temps are as stated above, i disinfected myself and my tools before i touch the res every day. There are 4 12' airstones pumping bubbles into this res. I have no idea what the $&#% is left to try, and im starting to get more than a little bit irritated with hydro.

Strain is purple kush.

Any suggestions?

The pics below are the before and after (2 days apart).

In case you were wondering ,the brown stuff at the bottom of the tank is the piranha not some terrible disease.

I live in a very warm climate, but seem to insist upon continuing to try hydro. Every time I run into root rot, I just take them out of the water and plant them in soil... cup, hydroton and all. I just take the cup out of the hydro setup and place it in a pot of soil.
Honestly, it's been working great for me. Sometimes I get a full grow completed, but I often run into problems when switching to flowering. Even if the roots start to rot, I still get a very quick veg cycle and my babies don't hardly notice the change to soil most of the time.
BTW.... did you sterilize ALL of your hydro gear (hoses, airlines, airstones, pumps, etc...) between grows? Another popular source of water problems is light intrusion into the res.

Best 'o luck!

Hey man thanks for the reply.

I spent about an hour completely light proofing the box, there isn't a single ray of light getting in the res, that's the one thing I know for sure isn't causing the problem.

As for the hoses and airlines, etc. I basically let my entire set up run a heavy 35 percent hydrogen peroxide + water cycle for about 3-4 days to get the lines cleaned up, then ran bleach through the lines, then ran fresh water, then planted my new clones. I figured that would be enough, its possible it wasnt. I also scrubbed the entire box down with bleach and water, etc. I thought I did a pretty good job :(

And as for your soil suggestion, I'm about THIS close to ripping this tray out and converting it to a bed for an organic soil or coco grow. Id still like to recover this crop, I'm running out of investment room for this thing.

Does anyone know if 52 degrees is cold enough to kill roots?
