I pulled a few smaller bottom buds and there leaves... I dried it all out in a paper bag... Not the way I know. But it seemed to work. I noticed a lot of little "Thichomes" sp... on the leaves and just wondered... could I smoke it and feel the high?

Well I tried it.. lol and of course the long told story that you can't actually do it was true... It was fucking harsh as harsh can be.

So my question is why? What make them so harsh to smoke? I took a hit on the reg old bud I grew and Whew... was like heaven:eyesmoke:...

Any input?
THk, much appreciated..

I might be able to answer you question but I need to know a few things first. Did you just harvest and put the buds right into the paper bags or did you dry it somewhat before you put the in the bags? After you took it from the brown bags did you cure it in jars or just smoke it as is? How damp was it when you smoked? Was this mostly lsmaller leaves?

I just grabbed a few buds and stuck em' in bags. They were only in there 2 days.

The leaves were larger. Buds were small, but still buds... and the small leaves I just left with the bud.

The bud smoked great, even when damp at 2 days. (at least a lot better then the leave) and there was no cure time. But so I don't mess my real harvest up, what can I do to make it better? I was thinking a drying rack (screen) for 3-4 days or till the stems snap. Then stick em' into jars until they are moist again (12 hr)... then open them 12 hrs after that and then once more.

Dont know if this will work or if this is right but please let me know.

As for the leaves, I'm just wondering how I can get the most out of them...

Chlorophyl.....and the fact that it has not had a chance to break the chemicals down into simple good tasting smelling sugars:twisted:

Curing marijuana can DRASTICALLY improve the taste of your bud, i consider it a vital part of growing marijuana. its so silly to spend so much time and effort growing weed and not put in the month you need to dry and cure you bud properly. as for the leaves, you're never gonna get the sweet bud taste you want out of them, curing will make it more bearable, but i think you'd be better suited using your trim for making hash\hashoil\cannaoil. good luck and happy growing.
