12yr. grower, fairly experienced, room is set-UP!
Indoor 10'x10' Basement room
My room is dying for some reason. I moved from cloning area, 16" pots rooted n green to my main area, 8 plants, to grow, tie down a little and flower. I changed strains last year looking for a good one. This is the 2nd crop with this strain. Last year i picked up Skunk #1 (dutch passion) and hymalayan Gold (forget who makes them) It sucked anyway. took cuttings from Skunk's and got me here today with 8 Skunk #1's. 4 in a 4x8 area, 2 areas total.

Problem Stats, Here we Go!
Soil= Pro-Mix, about 1.2 cu. ft. per pot
Water= City, 6.8 to 7.0 pH typically, timer set on 1 Min. once a day, 2 noz per plant about 44oz./1250ml. water.
Pots= 16" 1.2 cu. ft. per. 4 per 4x8 area 2 areas
Fertilizers= Now trying Floranova and liquid Karma, mixed in 30gal can and PH balanced to 6.8-6.9 over few days before given. Water is Reverse Osmosis before fert is mixed to ensure accuracy.
Room Temp= 75 deg. F
Leef Temp= 75 to 80 deg.F with IR surface Temp meter.
humidity= 70% now with last 9 days of rain we had. typically 50-60%
Lights= 1 side 1000w on mover, 2nd is 2 600w, all air cooled, sunmaster bulbs, on 24hrs. for grow!
Ventilation= 2 8" in-line fans.
Movement= 1 12" fan for circulation and 2 16" fans for wind, 2 times a day, 15 min.

What do I see?
Stems are purpler then they should be, Affects older growth leaves more, high and low, small or big. New growth is less affected. 2 plants out of the 8 are just showing signs now while others are on death bed. Pics will show. No bugs that I can see. Over watering? Difficency of some sort?

The only thing that is different from cloning spot to main one is, more light, more and on time watering other then that, nothing! I have done this same sequence of events for a few years and never had this problem, New strain though!

Problems posting pics, too big, have to cut them down. post ASAP
Got them, tell me if need more or better ones.

wouldn't their be some in the fertilizers? if not whats the safest way to correct it? I guess it's the strain because i have been doing it this way for 5 yrs.

brother is right....looks like a mag. def. I think maybe it could be strain related.....there is someone else that is having similar probs...... not mentioning names though....:) goodluck!!

bro......to correct, use 1 tsp. epsom salt per quart of water.....after 1st dose, following doses can be used at 1/4 strength....also you can foliar feed with epsom salts at a ratio of 1 tsp. per gallon......good luck!!

Thanks for the heads up, I will try this on one and see how it reacts. FYI Only me Fert water is R.O. before I add Fertilizers, I only Fert once every 1-2 weeks. At this point I only fert these plants 4 times in their life. They are about 10-12 weeks old. My every day watering from the Rainbird timer is direct to my water line, NO R.O.

blackstrap molasses is a good source of mag and calcium... use 1 Tbsp per gallon for about a 5-1-1 npk.. the carbs are also good for roots and you can use with every watering. just a thought gl man

Let me ask this also. What do most of u do? PH for plans like these i am told 6.7 to 7.0. My Floranova Newts bottle says 5.0 to 6.5 PH. Which should I go by? Should i go 6.4 to 6.5. I am wondering about Newt lockout.

here bro....this chart should help a little...ph differs from soil to hydro......whatever you running, just make sure you get your ph up to par.....you gotta adjust it:)
