Problem with growing your own

Well i have found that in the time i have been growing my own weed, i have become extremely fussy and will now only smoke what i have grown or i have to know where it was grown and how, i dont think this is a bad thing all the time i have plenty or one of my close freinds that grow have got, but becomes a nightmare when everyone runs low and you have too go hunting , i find myself turning down loads of bits as dont know how its grown.
