problems geminating

hello everyone im tring to start my next grow iv bought blue cheese seeds iv put them in water to germinate them. they have cracked the seeds but dont seem to be going any further . the little bit of root that comes out isnt this is the 7th day now ! any advice please

The best way to germ seeds is still the paper towel method. I have near 100% success using the paper towels. I've heard of the water method but nobody I know uses it. Just remember you have to keep the pt + beans wet. They must be sealed in a large baggie so they do not dry out. You should see little white feet in 48 hours and 3 days for sure. BigSteve.

All ya got left is to throw them into some dirt and see what happens. Good luck

I use the water cup combined with the paper towel method, the problem of the water cup is you can drown your seeds if you don't pull them when they crack, or at least that's what I have noticed. When my seeds crack I put them in the damp paper towel for 1 more day to get that root out further. Then I plant in a solo cup with some dirt/perilite mix.

I haven't germed a lot of seeds, but so far Im 100% with the paper towel method and will probably not try anything else.
