Hey,

i was wondering does a regular cheap inline 4” fan for a grow tent like pictures attached.

or a professionalbig looking one like third picture attached is better?
Is there difference since it’s connected to the filter to odor control?

thanks

That Kenley (3rd pic) fan will not work. I know because I bought one to move air from my drying cab to my tent.
It couldn't even move air through 2ft of duct without any filter.

You would be better off buying a second hand ruck or can fan than a cheap fan.
That first fan I also had years ago, prone to bearings rattling.

Buy a ruck

Professional "looking" means nothing.

An inline exhaust fan is a device that typically runs 24x7x365. Often (as is my case), for several years continuously. I research as much as I can when I buy one. Mean time before failure (MTBF), bearing construction, sound dBs, CFM, vibration, operation stats when put on a variable switch etc.
