Does anyone have a similar experience with highly acidic promix?
Basically I had to Base my RO water to a pH above10 so I could get my promix slightly above 6.
From what I've read this doesn't seem like the norm but I am using a very expensive freshly calibrated pH meter I borrowed from a friend so I'm positive of the readings.
With pH 7 water the run-off from the pot was 4.3....I had to bring the water to 10.15 to finally get it above 6...WTF???
Now wonder my sick little seedling stopped growing. I was told I wouldn't have to worry about the pH as promix will buffer to within an acceptable range on its own... Bullshit!!! After i noticed no new growth for 4 days I decided to look into the ph and there lies the problem.
Anyone?
