Protecting Plants from Hurricanes and Tropical Storms

What does everybody do with their outdoor grows when a hurricane, tropical storm or heavy wind and rain comes through?

I have a small balcony grow. Amongst other plants I have 4 plants in pots. Not sure how I will protect them against 50+ mph winds. Probably just bring them inside for the day. Problem is my AC is cranking out a cool 63°F.

63° wont hurt those at all, some strains can take a few frosts. If you can move em in, I would.

I use layers of trellis netting. We get horrible storms here all summer and fall. Even a few tornados already this yr. I have 2 layers so far and putting up the next layers next week.

I just added a bunch of stakes and tied the bigger branches off so they wouldn’t whip around too much. The plants came through Isaias just fine, although the highest recorded wind around here was only 50 mph.
