Prune during flowering? SCROG

Ey, so this is my first grow, and here i have 2 girls switched to flowering 13 days ago, after they've been in veg for 5 weeks.

As you can see it's pretty bushy under the screen,with fan leaves and new shoots coming out.

I've already pruned a bit today and yesterday at the base of the plants, tho i don't feel safe pruning anything more, cause i don't want to cause damage/stress to the plants since i've been reading that fan leaves are a storage for energy.
And since it's in flowering i'm afraid to cut new shoots off,cause i don't know if that reduces the yield of the plant...

Should i leave the fan leaves to die on their own? Since everyday some of the lower fans die and fall naturally.
Should i prune everything? Pls let me know thanks ;(
 
Dude don't worry about pruning too much. Trust me it will be back to jungle in a week. I have to prune at least twice in flower to get some light penetration and air flow. If I don't, the leaves get dew on them as their leaves are so packed together. Later on that can cause bud rot. I just prune the big fan leaves and leave the small ones. And make sure I can see through to the floor. About half way through flower I'll prune again, any leaves that cover bud sites are gone and all the fan leaves right on top. I leave as many fan leaves on the bottom as possible as long as they're getting light and not turning yellow.
 
My lollipop scrog is trimmed hard one week before flip. All the way to the fourth or fifth node from the top. I do this again at the third week from the first visible flowering. From then until week 5, I continue to remove lower growth and leaves over 3" dia.. After week 5 don't remove anything unless needed.006.jpg002.jpg

I try to stay legal count wise and just store my crops. If they end up too big I give some away to stay in a comfortable place or wait a while to start another one.
This run I just wanted to get an idea of what the space is capable of, probably going to knock a couple weeks of the veg from here.

Basically had a 6+ foot sphere here last year. Scared the hell out me in the end. Gave away more than I've ever bought. I want it to be legal for all. And I pledge to not F that up for all.
 
The problem I have is when its readily available, i can smoke up to 2oz in a week. Ive also recently found out how much better an edible with my meds at night helps me sleep. Its all for personal use, but I need enough to last between crops at least and it goes quite fast. Just havent done enough cycles to have that balance dialed in yet.
