Hi I have a really nice white widow plant that i just started budding this week and I was wondering if it would make a difference if I trimmed off the bottom leaves/stems that arent going to get enough light..I didnt know it was a good idea to do that before and was wondering if it is okay to do this still?

Widow is bushy and you can prune out lots. I would leave all the fan leaves unpruned because they are good food producers.

Pruning and/ or cutting during flowering is a risk. To much stress and you have hermies or reduced yield. It's all about the yield! But yea if adding side light or under lights is not an option ( CFL's or a T5HO)then yes cutting few leaves down below won't hurt, but if there not yellowing or showing other signs of distress.

I usually cut away the bottom third of each plant... it makes trimming easier when all you have are nice huge buds and none of that bullshit undergrowth... Hack away..
