Pulling leaves during flower? Cause mold?

I was debating with my brother the other day about pulling yellow leaves during flower and if it causes mold or not. He pulled a few leaves off my almost finished plant that had no mold at all on it and now 2 days later it's starting to get a little rot on the same branches he pulled leaves, I'm thinking this kinda proved my point but I'd like to know what you guys have experienced. Thx

No. If anything it will help mold from forming and spreading. I always take the yellow dieing leaves off. It will increase airflow as well.

Right I defan like crazy at end of week four and constantly defan before that your less likely to get mildew or mold due to better air flow and no dark places

I have seen it happen only when the leaf not quite dead, when u pull the leaf off it strips some fiber off the stalk,i have got mold where it was striped

Yea ill pull the ones that are like hanging on by a thread but the ones that are just starting to turn yellow I try to leave and wait... I feel like pulling them creates a little bit of a wound
