pumice vs perlite ?help

i went to my local garden store today to go purchase some perlite to add alittle more to my happy frog soil.And they were out!lol so next to it was this stuff called pumice im wondering is it just like perlite?the description sounds like it kinda.

any info out their fellows? maybe ill just return and go somewhere else to get perlite if no replys 2mar
