pump question aeroponics

I'm attempting to make an aeroponic setup my self. I plan on using the green mister jets. The ones like Earl has. I was wondering if anyone knows what the flow rate is so that I can calculate what strength of pump that I need to get so I have a proper balance of spray vs backpressure.

How many will you be using in your setup? Usually those little mister heads are low pressure low volume. I use the red aero misters in all my units and use like a 200-300 gph pump for 6-10 misters and in larger setups an 800 gph pump for like 25-40 misters. Run them 24 hours a day do not cycle the pump as it not needed and rougher on the pumps life cycle

do you think the same numbers go for the green misters?
In my setup I have 5 green misters that I screwed into two pvc pipes and the water travels up a (roughly) 4-5inch lift from my 180gph pump and it isn't nearly enough..looking back I now wish I would have gone bigger on the pump. So I think somewhere in the mid 200 to mid 300 range should do fine for 5-7 misters.

Good thread, I have an aero build going and was beating this question around as well.

I have approx. 32 black 360 degree (not spinning) misters going into mine.. The pump will be less then 20" below the 2 x 7'x4" PVC pipes.

I was told that 670 GPH would be fine... anyone have something different to say?
