I was wondering if anyone knows of DWC/topfeed plants being grown with Pura Vida or Natures Nectar Nutrients.

Questions:

1# Is ph a concern since ive heard you dont need to watch it with both brands.

2# Also if SaferGro Ph down/Mixwell will work to handle ph water level before adding the nutrients (if ph should be adjusted)

3# Can used them with an air pump or will it have a bad affect (since i plan on using waterfarm systems)

Im planning on grow all organic and keeping it simple with rapid rooter grow plugs and lava rocks in the DWC/topfeed systems.

Plans for feeding -

Veg:
Pura Vida Grow
Natures Nectar Potassium
Safer Gro Ph down/Mixwell

Bloom:
Pura Vida Bloom
Natures Nectar Phosphorus
Natures Nectar Potassium
Safer Gro Ph down/Mixwell

If anyone can share experience or knowledge of these products would be most appreciated by my inferior noggin. :)

There are plenty of nutrient companies that claim to not have to test ph. I use the alleged ph perfect sensi series for my base nutes. Saw normal ph fluctuations. The reason for checking/monitoring ph is nutrients get absorbed at different levels depending on type of growing/ medium chosen. 5.5-5.9 is the best range for hydro so i would try to stick there.

Unless these companies have altered the nutrients in it, changing the level at which they can be absorbed, I dont see how any nutrients will not have to worry about ph. if you can find it get a ph up/down that is derived from phosphorus and not nitrogen. that way it will break down to phosphorus instead on nitrogen. Nitrogen based will be fine for veg, and flower if you need to.
