Hello i'm new to the Aerogarden growing scene and just had a quick question about which AG i should purchase...price isn't really a factor I just want the one that will help my batch grow the best.

also minus the aerogarden how money should be spent on the rest of the equipment? another 100 or 200 dollars??

thx in advance

The AeroGarden Extra Elite is our most advanced fully-featured garden that comes with brushed stainless steel trim. It has twice the light and twice the height and gives you the greatest options for what your want to grow. It delivers larger, faster yields and healthier, fuller plants. It includes a 24" extendable lamp arm, 24-hour light cycle with 3 Deluxe Grow Bulbs
another 100 to 150 you should be able to get everything needed to grow some nice plants.. good luck if theres anything i can help with please let me know i am also pretty new but seem to be doing pretty good with the aerogarden and have done lots of homework :)

BM, you don't really say why you are going with the AG or what you hope to accomplish with it. I have one and they are neat little machines and are a good little tool for somethings but, not for others. If you want to go start to finish in them it can be done but, I don't think it's a great idea. If you go ahead with it think dwarf and don't use all of the sites, they are too close together. You have a lot of options at that price point, consider them all. In the end the best decision is the one that work for you the best.

but by August or September i'll have way more space....so i'm just using this as an tool to learn or an introduction to growing.

That's fine, let me give you a few things to think about. I had poor results with the nute tabs that came with it, consider GH maxigrow, get a PH test kit the dropper one for $7-8 will work, ph up and down. An airpump and airstone, it will end up working like DWC. Those lights can't be set to 12/12, I don't think. I have read that you use a figure 8 cord from a playstation to use the lights on a timer but, not the water pump. You will have to look around here for details. If not using auto flower go to 12/12 at 9-11 inches. Trust me you will learn a great deal from this and it should be fun as well. Good luck.
