Here are a few pictures of my Purps plants five weeks into flowering. I am having a bit of confusiong as to weather the burning on several of them is from heat stress or nutrient burn.
My temperatures are 76 degrees lights off, and sometimes as high as 87 lights on (87 is the temp around the floor where the lights are on, which leads me to believe my canopy could have been over 90 pretty easily. I had some problems with ventilation but got it worked out, and hope to see lower temps tonight - will keep ya posted.
Some of the ladies look real nice, but I have also been battling spider mites this time. I have only found two plants thus far with mites, and I gave em a spray last night... and will remove those dead fuckers and their webs tonight when the lights come on.
Will likely do another Pyrethrum bomb sometime soon to make sure they stay the fuck away.
What do you guys think...? Nutrient burn or temperature burn? The most of the damage is definitely on the top third of the plants, most of the damage being on the tallest of all the ladies. My PPM is at 870 right now which I figured they could handle. Perhaps lock out?
I water the plant until they are fully saturated but not flowing out of the bottom of the pot.. so lock out is a possibility too. This method has worked fine for me in the past though. I am using SunShine#4 and SuperNatural nutes, and also Hydrozime. Any opinions are appreciated.
Would love to bump the nutes up... I would think I could go higher than 870 this late, especially since a buddy topped 1200 by the end of his run (same genetics)
