Put your thinking caps on people tell me what this is

So my white widow clones and 3 of anoher unknown strain are showing these spots which seem to be turning into small holes......I have ruled out pests and have baffled quite a few people already so what do you think? Im using Technaflora recipe for success nute they are in rockwool and have a Ph of 6 and its only showing up on the upper parts of the plants.

I guess thrips or aphids. something got in there and did some damage. Looks like it happened when the growth was young. As it grows the scars rip.

That was my first guess... I havent found any bugs and my pest strips are empty im going to spray with neem oil tonight....its the best i got at the moment..
