haha i like the name. I worked in a pet store for almost 4 years and even though for about 1.5 years I was the reptile specialist I did not go NEAR the tarantula's or scorpid's. Scorpids especially. I cleaned all the cages, but I basically avoided helping customers who wanted to see those two things. i had a co-worker who was more passionate about it. I held one a few times, but I offer no suggestions. I cant own a big spider. >.<

but yet I'd own any species of snake/gecko/lizard/turtle. right now Im down to just my long living leopard gecko "Scooter". I think he's 10 years old now.

Wow I did not know they spun web. Very strange an giant spider, so what does it eat?

its an aborial species which means it lives in trees thats why they make a big web in the top corner of the cage. right now im feeding it crickets, but ive read online adults can eat small birds and mice among other small animals like that.

the first time i fed mine i put a cricket into its web and nothing happend so i moved the cricket to the floor and once querkle saw it BAM instantly killed it.
Cool, how long does it live for? It's happy in that little jar thing? You should let it roam free in you room an let it catch bugs.
Sorry about all the questions but that thing is neat!

ive heard males live from 2-3 years and females live 8-10 years. no you cant keep it in the small container. yea ive got it all set up in an old aquarium tank. for this spider ive heard its best to not leave any live crickets in the cage.
