Question about Advanced Nutrients dosing

Hi guys! I'm on my first grow using the 3-part "pH perfect" normal series from Advanced Nutrients.

I have 6 plants (autos) each in 3gal pots. I water them roughly 2 liters of water a couple times or week. The bottles says "4ml pr liter weekly" but it seems like a lot of i have to give each plant 8x3ml of nutrients every week? I know the manufactureres tend to overdo it a bit on the labeling, but even at half, it still seems like a lot?

Is my math right or am I missing something?

What growing medium are you using? I always start off at like 1/4 strength of what the manufacturer says. Then work my way up from there. I also am going in coco so may be different than you. Do you have a ppm meter or EC meter? Takes a lot of guessing out of mixing up nutrients.
