question about back thingie on newly sprouted plant

Hi!

I have sprouted my very first plant, i think it is looking pretty good, unfortunately dont know yet if it is M or F my question is what is the black thingie at the tip of one of the sprouts? How does it look otherwise? it has been a little less than 2 weeks since I planted it in the soil. more pix are in photobucket album here:

but i think it's just part of the seed shell
I bet it falls off :D
and the album is set to private

Yeah I just fixed that I thought it meant like private unless you provide link like youtube does lol...huh weird. .guess I'll have to wait n see. That would b so sick if it turned out to be female...When am I able to tell? Thanks for the help!

That's a seedcap, the biggest killers of new seedlings. I would have taken 2 toothpicks and gently removed the seedcap before it strangles the little one. BigSteve.
