Question about bubble hash making

so when you agitate the plant matter with a plain electric mixer and egg beaters, how long are you supposed to mix it for? They say mixing it with a wooden spoon takes 15 - 30 minutes. At harvest time Ill probably have at least 150 grams of trim and buds that arent big enough to pack a bowl. Shit i could have as much as 300 grams which would be a dream. The strain is california sage x og kush and theyre pushing 6 and a half feet tall. okay, heres a pic of my second largest. shes a month into flowering today. Those flowers are everywhere. the shitty camera dont do it a damn of justice.

mix it until the foam just starts to turn green. once you see green you are getting plant matter and it's time to stop.

when using buds to make hash and after thier dried do you have to break up the material befroe mixing it in the work bag? Like making hash oil you have to break up the material untill its powder for it to work right. is it the same for bubble hash or do you streight up throw nuggs in there?

i break it up enough to get the big sticks out. that's about it though.

when using trim to make hsh ive read that its about 10 grams hash to 100 grams trim. So when using buds what is the amount of hash to buds?

It depends on the quality of the trim and bud on how much bubble you get. I use the water hash system from growbots.org I found that this is the best system for me. I only run 100g at a time and find that works best for me, I like this sysem because you set it up turn it on and watch the crystals fall, plus its made in mendo. good luck

so how much buble do you get?

i get about 10%+ back. when i use trim it is bud trim only. no fan leaves. so i get the same regardless of what i use, which is usually 10%+.

We used a power drill with a paint mixing attachement to stir ours up worked very well

well I would never consider throwin fan leaves in there. Only buds and sugar leaf. It seems like you woul get alot more product when using buds because the have the most concenration of trichomes which woul maen more hash. But i guess its not the case. Ill haVe to wait an see.
