ok so i might of missed this in the tutorial but what is the benefits if any of having some flowering CFLs (2500k) with your veg CFLs (6000k)?

example i have a 8 CFL setup in my grow tent, i remember reading somewhere that i should have one or two 2500ks with the 6000ks make like two flower and six veg...

not sure if im making any sense but i hope i am

thanks! toke on!:bigjoint:

You want to have each spectrum(2700kF, 6500kV) throughout the grow, as to mimic the sun. Technically your 6500ks(blu) are for the vegetative growth of your plant and the 2700ks(red) for flower development. In my opinion, ideally you'd want about the ratio stated above imo. 3b/1r for veg and 3r/1b for flower. This is what I am personally using and although I haven' t tried anything different, it's working 5 star.

Edit: I've also noticed color temp is a lot less important as far as CFLs go.
