Question about cloning my current plant

I have a plant that I mainlined into four main colas. On one side of the plant the two stems are starting to split as it grows. My question is, to avoid having a runt main cola from a weird nutrient split due to the crack should I cut off the short stem completely and turn it into a few clones?

It looks to have repaired itself already...I personally wouldn't bother...g/l

Thanks for the quick response. I was talking with a friend about it the other day but decided to come here and get advice from a group of people that know what they are talking about.

Personally, I would place a zip-tie around it and do it rather tightly, because even though it has started to heal back together it will still be easier to damage than the rest of the plant in the future. There will likely be a point in the future where you have to move her around or something, and you don't want that spot to be a weak point and lose some good herb.

Good point. Would a zip-tie be fine or should I use something softer?
