Question about Light cycle during veg

Hello all & thanks for reading..

I've been trying to look up some advice but unable to find anything that applies to my situation at first i was using 18/6 for Veg, the lights turned on at 6am....2 weeks later i changed it to 24/0....but now i want to change it back to 18/6, But the main question that play's on my mind is would it be okay to change when the lights turn on!? it was 6 am before i went to 24/0 and i want to change it so lights turn on at 6pm...so when there sleeping between midday and 6pm it's not so hot, i just thought i would ask any experienced growers if they have done this before because the last thing i want is my girls freaking out on me, don't want hermies & such ... i want that good stuff that'll make you wanna slap Yo mama!.

A bit confusing...you are concerned that your plants are going to recognize that they once had a dark period at a different time?? If I follow, I think you are safe with re-starting your dark period anytime you want. If your plants wear indiglo watches, I would cover them with black tape so as they are not tempted to look at them during this switchback.

if a plant is in veg you can pretty much do as you like with the light cycle and it will not be too badly affected. within reason of course.

when you switch to 12/12 however the plants can be confused if you cut short the dark period, if you have to change the time for any reason during flower, always make sure to change the timer when the light cycle is on.

Just do it.

i sometimes find it hard to explain myself and find the right word's but you are correct & thank you all for the help & reassuring me it'll be okay, i will definately leave them alone when time to flower i paid for the seeds Online got some nice strains so the less mistake's i make the better
