Question about lighting

I'm working on my first grow. Made my first mistake and bought a 400w metal halide instead of hps. Only doing two plants. How do the warm spectrum mh bulbs compare? What can I expect?

You're actually ok, MH is best for veg and HPS is best for bloom. I've never bloomed with MH but I supose it can be done but with less yield than with HPS.

did you buy a digital ballast? if so i believe most of them can run both bulbs! so just invest 30$ on an hps bulb and youll have the best spectrum possible for both the vegetative and flowering stages.
